Reseña: 

Sulema Torres-Ramos received a BSc degree in Informatics (2004) from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, Mexico. Afterward, obtained the MsC (2006) and Ph.D. (2010) in Computer Science from the Computing Research Center of the National Polytechnic Institute, Mexico. Since 2013, she is a Professor and Researcher in the Computer Science­ Department in the University of Guadalajara, and a member (Level 1) of the National System of Researchers in Mexico. Her research areas are machine learning focused on solving problems in fields such as Bioinformatics, Computational Linguistics, Neuroinformatics, among others.
