Reseña:

Ricardo A. Salido-Ruiz received a BSc degree in Electronics (2004) from the Autonomous University of Baja California, Mexico. Afterward he worked in the private sector (2004-2005) at Lawrence Electronics where he gained experience in the design and creation of circuit prototypes with surface mount components. Afterward, he obtained the MsC (2008) in Bioelectronics from the CINVESTAV-IPN in Mexico City. Then, he obtained the Ph.D. (2012) in Automatics, Signal and Image Processing from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine, INPL (now the University of Lorraine) in France. During 2013 he works in the Bioengineering program of the Autonomous University of Baja California as Professor where he taught courses related to the biomedical field. Since 2014, he is Professor and Researcher in the University of Guadalajara, and a member (Level 1) of the National System of Researchers in Mexico. His research areas are biomedical signal processing focused on solving problems in fields such as neurosciences and the development of monitoring systems for diabetes among others.
